Overall Vision
Originality Technique ImpactThe light play and colors are gorgeous! I also love the composition and contrast between the two characters. Charles who is calm and humorous, almost meditative like, and then there's Ramiro who seems to be exploding with energy and insecurity.
What I'm curious to know if it was your intention for Ramiro to look terrified, because that is the impression that he gives off. He is not making eye contact with Charles. Ramiro seems to be glancing at something outside the image, where the source of fear seems to be. Charles' role here seems to be the calming influence, that shows the young colt that there is nothing to fear.
Regardless of intent, this is a beautiful image that really grabs the eye.
